UPDATES

Tuesday, July 01, 2008 - Mood Music
Happy Early Fourth of July (well, to my fellow Americans, anyway)! I really should have some American stuff up to celebrate the occasion... but I don't. Maybe next time? I suffered a bit of Photoshop-is-not-working-properly-so-I-had-to -reinstall-the-whole-dang-thing troubles tonight so all you'll get is four songs this month: 'Neo Ddaemune' by Brown Eyes, 'SLEEPING girl' by COLTEMONIKHA, 'At Least I'm Honest' by Tiger Baby, and 'Rasen no Kioku' by Kurumi Enomoto. Enjoy! Jenny

Sunday, June 01, 2008 - Summer Lovin'
Happy June folks! I hope everyone's having a happy summer! Since it's that time of the year, congrats to everyone graduating from high school/college! The new rotation is pretty good, if I do say so myself: "Love Strikes" by Eskobar, "i spy i spy" by Superfly x JET, "still doll" by Kanon Wakeshima, "Yuurei" by monobright, and "sundown river (I am Robot and Proud Remix)" by DE DE MOUSE. Please enjoy! Jenny

Thursday, May 01, 2008 - Original & Covers Special
Hi folks. May's regular rotation is as follows, "Mikazuki Sunset" by Sakanaction, "Tuesday in Silhouette" by Misty Blue, and "Daylight" by Maximilian Hecker. As promised, the update also includes a themed special: Original & Covers. If you're a Aurifera or Z-Degrees forum member, you may have already come across a thread featuring the songs in the special. But for those who aren't, please enjoy! The special is as follows, Spitz's "Cherry" and covers of it by Tomiko Van and YNot?, Miho Nakayama & WANDS's "Sekaijuu no Dare Yori Kitto" and covers of it by Hitomi Shimatani and The Nuts, and Yutaka Ozaki's "I LOVE YOU" and covers of it by Mika Nakashima and Position. Jenny

Saturday, April 05, 2008 - Spring In Full Swing!
As promised, I'm back. The new rotation is as follows: "BIRD" by Kensoshi, "Hatsukoi" by GOING UNDER GROUND, "Tokyo" by Nell, and "Invasion" by Eisley. This was supposed to be a five-song rotation... but doing a really complicated tax return on a Saturday morning just sucked all the energy out of me. Sorry! My sister and I have another themed special in mind for the May rotation. That means more songs for our visitors to choose from! Hopefully I can put something together by then. Bye bye! Jenny

Wednesday, April 02, 2008 - A Small Delay...
So sorry... but I'm afraid I have to delay the April rotation until this weekend. I just came back from week vacationing in Japan, spent another week feeling jet-lagged, and walked into the peak of the busy tax season at work. I just didn't get a chance to put together a new rotation. Just dropping in to let you guys know I'm still alive! Jenny

Saturday, March 01, 2008 - A Tiny New Rotation and Very Large B'z Special.
Okay, so I've been listening to almost nothing but B'z lately. The new rotation definitely reflects that. If I could convert just one person... just one person in my lifetime... into a B'z fan, I would be able to die happy. I'm serious! Anyways, if the new comments are sloppy, please forgive me... unlike the last rotation, this one was thrown together haphazardously at last minute. The new rotation features: " I Hate You, Cause I Love You" by Dorothy, "The Pieces Don't Fit Anymore" by James Morrison, and "Konya mo Kimi ni Telephone Call" by Lamp.

The B'z Special (which I have dreamt of doing for an eternity) features: "Bad Communication," "FUSHIDARA 100%," and "Calling." It covers old-school B'z, classic hard rock B'z and epic rock ballad B'z. The only thing that's missing is bluesy B'z and current B'z (which I already covered with "Isshufuran" in January). There's also a Tak solo, "99" and a Koshi solo "Touch." Happy listening folks! I will be back in April. Jenny

Friday, February 01, 2008 - Update Mania!
Since the last update was sort of puny (four picks)... I thought I'd be a little more generous this rotation (six picks)... there's also more variety this time around. Please also check out the new link outs on the extra page!

The new rotation is as follows: "La Valse D'Amélie" by Yann Tiersen, "23" by Blonde Redhead, "Namja Dabge" by Outsider, "The Hymn of All Creations" by Taro Hakase, "Love Story wa Totsuzen ni" by Kazumasa Oda, and "Tantei Galileo" by Yugo Kanno. Hmmm... three out of the six picks are instrumentals. No, I didn't plan it... interestingly enough... Hopefully I'll get more comments this time around. I mean, come on, only six comments? That's what I got three years ago - when this site first went up. They really do mean a lot to me... long or short... if that makes any difference.

Anyways, I hope everyone stays warm this winter. See you next month! Jenny

Saturday, January 05, 2008 - The Start of 2008 - A Brand New Year!
It's 2008! I'm sorry that the January rotation is late. My only excuse is that I felt wasn't feeling in the right mood to update due to an incident involving another music rotation plagarizing an album review that I wrote. The situation is in the process of being resolved, so I'll move on. Alrighty then, onto some happier news! I recently moved the entire Love-Train.NET site to a new host: Total Choice Hosting. Thank you goes to Mylani of Aurifera.NET for the recommendation! Hopefully, the new host will serve me better and there will be less down-time. I also revamped the "extra" page... got rid of a few things and added a few, so make sure you check it out before you leave!

Anyways, the new rotation is as follows: "Isshufuran" by B'z, "Meat Market" by Everybody Else, "Yume Yume" by ONE OK ROCK, and "Urineun" by Lee Seung Yeol. Forgive me for the lack of variety in genres this time around (they're all loosely "rock" songs) but this is what I've been listening to lately. Jenny

Sunday, December 02, 2007 - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
It's that time of the year again. Every year, I put up a special Christmas rotation... and I always end up uploading the same songs. I vowed to change that this year! The songs in this year's Christmas Special are brand new to Musical Chairs. The current rotation has been cut to 3 songs... because I'm too lazy to write comments for 5 songs. The are: "Quicksand" by Deli Spice, "My Girl You Blush" by moi Caprice, and "This Broken Heart of Mine" by Kim Jo Han. The Christmas Special includes the following songs: "Last Christmas" by Savage Garden, "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24 (Instrumental)" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, "White Christmas" by Fly to the Sky, "Joy to the World" by the Twelve Girls Band, "Forever Happy Christmas" by Sol Flower, "Carol of the Bells" by George Winston, "Gobaegui Nal" by Sung Si Kyung, and the "Christmas Time is Here (Vocal Version)" by the Vince Guaraldi Trio. I hope you guys like the December rotation... it took me a whole day to put together... seriously. Anyways, Happy Holidays!

Oh, on a different note, can someone recommend me a comment hosting site other than haloscan? It's been down for quite some time and I really want you guys to be able to comment. You can reach me at jenscorpiox[a]msn.com. Jenny

Thursday, November 01, 2007 - Happy Belated Halloween!
Hey folks! I hope you guys had a good Halloween. The November rotation is up! lt is as follows: 'Tsuki no Shizuku' by paris match, 'Illumination' by Daishi Dance, '3 7 20 1' by Cao Ge, 'I' by Mary Story, and 'Babo Sarang' by Lee Jun Ki. No video this time around because I'm lazy.Jenny

Tuesday, October 02, 2007 - Update!
Please read the BIG annoucement below if you haven't already done so. I also have the annoucement posted in Q&A format in the FAQ section for future reference in case people get confused. Anyways, because of the new system in place, I have also decided to leave the last rotation up for those who missed it since the links still work. Anyways, the new rotation is up! There are more Japanese songs this time around to make up for the unintentionally Korean-centric previous rotation. The new rotation is as follows: 'Kaze no Toori Michi (Instrumental)' by Joe Hisaishi, 'Kokoro no Rhythm Tochibiru no Butterfly' by doa, 'Ketsumeishi Koujou' by Ketsumeishi, 'Hamkke Saneun Sesang (Pop Style)' by Yoon Do Hyun, and the both the song and PV for 'I Still Believe ~tameiki~' by Yumi Shizukusa. If a link in the current rotation dies, please let me know in the comment box and I will gladly reupload it ASAP. ;) If a link in the previous rotation section is dead... well, too bad. My advice? Don't miss a rotation. I update on a pretty timely basis every month. Until next time! Jenny

Wednesday, September 26, 2007 - IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT!
I have a BIG announcement to make: From now on, I will upload all music and video files on file hosting sites. The files will no longer be uploaded onto the Love-Train server. This means no more right-clicking and saving song links, but left clicking to a mediafire or sendspace page. The reason? The content collected on our domain has grown so large in size in the past few years that there just isn't enough space in our hosting plan to host these files. I discovered this problem while trying and failing to update another site on this domain. I know it will be less convenient for our visitors, but it's the only route I can take if I want to keep this site alive. On the bright side, this also means our domain will be hit with less bandwidth usage and possibly less server crashes. This also means that I will no longer have to zip music files as file size is no longer a concern. I think this is a pretty good trade off because less crashes and no more hassling with zip files is a plus for our visitors. This makes me think that I should have done this a long time ago.Jenny

Sunday, September 02, 2007 - I don't know what it is...
I don't know what it is... but every time I try to update this site, the server craps out on me. I don't know if it's the size of the files I'm transferring or what. Then it takes about half a day to go back up. Quite frankly, it's pissing me off. Anyways, I just did a HUGE update. The new songs are as follows: "Returns" by MC the Max, "Babylon of the Orient" by The Shanghai Restoration Project, "Misery" by BAY, "Moon Lover" by Block, and "Close" by Mot. Because I'm feeling generous, I also have the music videos to "Returns" and "Close" up. Enjoy! Jenny

Tuesday, July 31, 2007 - The end of summer break is nearing...
The end of summer break is nearing... or over for many people. How sad. Good thing I have no school next semester. I don't plan to go back until next year. Haha! Anyways, thank you for all the wonderful comments on the last rotation. They mean a lot to me. I'm so happy I decided to update one day early... The new rotation features: "Bedshaped" by Keane, "Namgyeojin Saram" by Fly to the Sky, "Course Out" by Swinging Popsicle, "Miin" by Lee Ki Chan, and both the song & music video for "Wol Gwang (Moonrise)" by W & Whale. Until next time! Jenny

Monday, July 02, 2007 - New Layout!
Thanks to Yukari, there is a new layout up. Isn't she cool? Yay! And as you can tell, it features Dong Bang Shin Ki. Aren't they cool? :) Jenny

Sunday, July 01, 2007 - Aiya...
Our server is acting funny. I'm able to update right now... but you guys won't see the changes until it goes back up. >< Anyways, when you guys do see this, it means everything is well again. The new rotation is as follows: 'blue sky' by moumoon, 'Sha Shou' by JJ Lin, 'Last Tango' by Clazziquai, 'I Like The Way' by Darren Hayes, 'Sigani Heureun Dwien' by Postino. Enjoy! Jenny
